Advocate Program

Apply to become an Advocate

Share Jobric with the people you already help, and earn 25% of what every subscriber you refer pays, for their first 12 months. We review every application and reach out within a few business days.

We’re looking for a certain kind of person

Advocates already have the attention of people who are looking for work. Career coaches, recruiters, newsletter writers, creators, community organisers, people who run a bootcamp cohort or an alumni group.

Size is not what we weigh hardest. A 400-person Slack of engineers who were laid off last month does more than 40,000 followers who came for something else. What we are reading for is whether you know your people well enough to know when Jobric would actually help them.

If you would only post the link because there is money attached, this is not the right program for you, and we will be able to tell.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

How you earn

  • 25% of every paid invoiceFor 12 months from a referred subscriber's first payment. Not a one-off bounty.
  • Your link and your discount codeThe code gives the person you refer a discount, so you are offering something rather than asking for a favour.
  • Paid monthly through StripeCommissions clear a 30-day hold, then pay out on the 1st once your approved balance reaches $25.

We are only accepting advocates in the three countries the program supports today: the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. We ask on the form rather than at payout time, so nobody finds out after they have already sent us referrals.

Step 1

How we reach you

This is the email your Advocate account runs on, and where the invite goes if we move ahead.

These are the three countries the program supports today. If you live somewhere else we cannot take your application yet, and we would rather tell you now than after you have sent us referrals.

Step 2

Your audience

Where you reach people, and roughly how many. This is most of what we review.

Where do you reach people?(select all that apply)*

Pick at least one.

A rough range across everywhere you post is fine. We are not checking the number, and a smaller, closer audience is often the stronger application.

Links to your audience or your business *

Add at least one.

Your newsletter, channel or profile, or the website for your business or practice. Anywhere we can see who you are and who you reach.

We take advocates big and small, so follower counts are not what we weigh. Having something to look at is. Someone with no public following and a simple site for their practice is exactly who this field is for.

If your audience is somewhere we cannot see, like a closed group or a client list, link whatever is closest to it, your own site or profile, and tell us where they actually live in the next question.

Step 3

Why Jobric, for your people

The part a person reads. Be specific about who they are and what they are up against.
