Advocate Program Terms

The Jobric Advocate program pays you a share of what the subscribers you refer pay Jobric. When Jobric approves your Advocate application, you will receive a referral link and a discount code. Anyone who subscribes after arriving through your link, or after using your code, is attributed to you.

Being an Advocate does not make you an employee, agent, partner or representative of Jobric. You are an independent participant in a referral program, you decide how and when you promote, and you are solely responsible for your own taxes.

You earn a commission of 25% of what a referred subscriber actually pays Jobric on each invoice, for 12 months from their first payment. Commissions are a share of collected revenue, not a bounty on signup, so a referral who never pays earns nothing and a referral who stays for a year earns for a year.

Attribution lasts 30 days from the click. If someone arrives through your link and subscribes within that window, the referral is yours. Discount code use attributes at checkout regardless of the click window.

Commissions are held for 30 days before they become payable. The hold covers refunds, chargebacks and cancellations inside the refund window, and a commission on money that is refunded to the customer is reversed rather than paid.

Payouts are issued monthly, on the 1st of each month, via Stripe. A payout is issued once your approved balance is at least $25. Below that threshold the balance carries forward rather than disappearing.

Jobric can only pay bank accounts in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Those are the countries where Jobric has customers, and it is why Jobric asks for your country on the application rather than at the time of payout.

Every time you promote Jobric you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you receive compensation for referrals. In the United States this is required by the FTC's endorsement guidelines; comparable requirements apply in most other jurisdictions. Beyond the legal requirement, it is also simply the honest thing to do with an audience that trusts you.

The disclosure has to be visible where the recommendation is, not buried on a separate page, behind a "more" link, or in a bio nobody opens. Plain wording is acceptable and is preferable to formal legal wording.

No paid search on our brand. Do not bid on "Jobric" or close variants and misspellings of it in any search or ad platform, and do not use our name in a display URL or ad copy in a way that reads as though the ad is from us. This captures clicks Jobric already had and charges Jobric for them.

No coupon, deal, cashback or voucher sites. Your discount code is for the people who follow you, not for aggregators that harvest codes from anywhere and intercept people already on their way to subscribing.

No self-referral. You may not use your own link or code for your own subscription, or for accounts you control, and you may not arrange for someone else to do it on your behalf. Commissions arising from a self-referral are reversed.

No misrepresenting what Jobric does. Do not promise interviews, offers, hires, specific employers, guaranteed results, or a number of matches. Do not describe features that do not exist or prices Jobric does not charge. Jobric's public pricing and feature descriptions are what we stand behind; if you want to say something Jobric does not say publicly, ask first.

No impersonation of Jobric. Do not run accounts, pages, domains or emails that suggest you are Jobric or speak for it, and do not represent yourself as a Jobric employee. Do not send unsolicited bulk email or messages, and do not promote on platforms in a way that violates their rules.

No incentivised or automated traffic. Bots, click farms, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, iframes, redirects and paying people to sign up are all outside the Advocate program.

You may use the Jobric name and the assets Jobric provides to describe the product and link to it. You may not modify Jobric's logo, use it as your own, or use it in a way that implies endorsement of anything other than the referral itself. Jobric may ask you to change or stop using a specific piece of promotion, and Jobric asks that you do so promptly.

Either party may end your participation in the Advocate program at any time, for any reason, upon notice by email. If your participation ends, commissions already approved and past their holdback period are still paid on the next scheduled payout run.

Jobric may withhold or reverse commissions, and remove you from the Advocate program, where a referral was obtained through anything in section 4, where the underlying payment was refunded or charged back, or where the account was fraudulent. Where the conduct was deliberate, Jobric may reverse commissions already paid and recover them from future payouts.

Jobric may change the commission rate, the commission window, the holdback period or the payout minimum. Any such change applies prospectively, from the date Jobric notifies you, and never retroactively to commissions already earned.

Jobric does not disclose to you the identity of anyone who subscribes through your referral link or discount code. Your dashboard reflects counts and earnings only, never the identity of a referred subscriber — they subscribed to a job search product and did not agree to be identified to you.

Jobric's handling and processing of personal data is governed by its Privacy Policy, which applies to your Advocate account as well.

These terms operate alongside the Jobric Terms of Service, which also apply to you.

To the extent the two conflict with respect to the Advocate program specifically, these terms shall govern.

If any provision of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
